Protect America Review -Learn How to Protect Your Family

Being able to protect ones family, home and possessions from various types of threats and emergencies should be
top priority. Unfortunately it is overlooked by many often because of affordability. By simply reading this
Protect America review one can discover how easy and affordable a home security system can be.
Installing a home security system is the best way to protect your home. There are two types of home protection
systems available. There are the wireless security systems and hard wired systems. They both deliver the same type
of security but initial costs can be drastically different.
Easy to Install Wireless Security
It seems that almost all of today’s electronics can be run and accessed wirelessly. Accessing the internet, home
phone systems, a computer mouse and printers all can now be done wirelessly. A wireless home alarm system is no
different and can be easily installed by the homeowner in under an hour and has all the same features and functions
of a hard wired system. This cuts out the cost of hiring a professional to install and connect the system for the
homeowner. Monthly monitoring costs can also be significantly less.
Professionally Installed Hardwire Alarm Systems
Our previous home had a hard wired alam system that had been installed very nicely by a professional security
systems installer. When the installation and the hardware required were added up, of course this increased the
initial cost quite a bit more than the current wireless system that we recently installed (ourselves) in our new
home.
We had read a Protect America review and decided to utilize their system. Their wireless system is a GE Home
Security System. Our home is now completely protected against a home invasion, burglary, fire and other common
emergencies that can threaten the safety of home and family.
To effectively insure our peace of mind Protect America also included the following in their
initial set-up fee:
• Yard and window warning signs
• A central command station
• Three door and window sensors for free (we purchased four additional sensors)
• A motion detector
• Interior siren.
We now have twenty-four hour monitoring in case any type of emergency should occur. Along with the security
system it is important to have a family meeting to implement an emergency plan. Consider planning exactly what to
do and where to go or who to call if the security siren should sound.

If one may need some convincing they should read the statistics of burglaries and break-ins in upper middle
class neighborhoods. A burglary takes place every 12 seconds, over 60% are by forcible entry and while owners are
home. Homes without a security system in place are three times more susceptible to burglary.
As with any purchase compare alarm monitoring systems and providers. Compare the up-front costs as well as the
monthly fees and various features. It is difficult to put a price on a family’s security, but we pay significantly
less per month with Protect America than we did with our previous hard wired system and also receive a discount on
our homeowners insurance.
